your guys thoughts

I am new to this, I bought a 72 chevy with the 402 big block in it. Whats your guys thoughts on this motor. It seems to me everyone is running a 350, is this a better motor to run

First off, let me say, Welcome to the board! Secondly, Dude, keep the 402. They are great engines. 350's are just cheap and easy to build and buy. Big blocks are generally more expensive to build than small blocks, but the extra torque is worth it. Is it the original engine for the truck? Got any pics of your truck?

welcome to the board dude! thats a wicked motor you got a 402 harder to come by especially in our trucks if you ever need help with anything anyone here can help you we all slave over these trucks day and nite lol anyways enjoy the stay and post some pics duder!

no brainer, BB is better... there is no substitute for cubic inches (well... maybe cubic dollars). pictures, we need pictures!
