Powder Coating
I took my frame, cross members, trailing arms, upper and lower control arms, front sway bar and ubolt brackets to Performance Coatings yesterday. They are going to bead blast and powder coat everything for $500.00. This is a deal compared to everyplace else I called. I will post pics when I get the parts back.

That is an awesome deal. $750 is as cheap as I know of, and I'm not sure he will even do it for that now.

That is real cheap if they are blasting it for you for that amount!! Mine was $400 and I blasted it. Anytime you can get someone else to sandblast for you, you are way ahead!! Nasty job!

Just a thought guys check with your local prisons,a couple of the prisons here for te inmates that are getting out they are teaching them a trade autobody, powedercoating. One of the local prisons here does offer blasting and coating, for 1/2 the price of a shop.they mainly charge for supplies, inmate might get like a $1 a hour, some of these guys here in the prisons do sweet work, its in their family blood for one,but then trained for several years in the system.check into it!!!!thats where my powedercoating is going to be done,i found out for it when i was in the hiring stages at the prison for a corrections officer.

You are correct Rat! The prison here in Jefferson City will allow the prisoners to do a full restoration if you wish. You just buy the parts.
I personnally want to do my truck entirely myself, but I don't have an oven that big in the kitchen so I had to farm the Powder Coating out. I hear the prisoners do excellent work though.
