L6 250 Redline and plug gap?

Just a couple of quick questions, ignorance is bliss....I installed a new tach and found that my 250 runs at 3k just around 60mph.....what is redline on a stock 250?
Also, stock 250, what is the rec. spark gap?

Re: L6 250 Redline and plug gap?

I believe it is around 4500. I shift mine at 4200 because it just runs out of breath there. Also .035 is the stock plug gap if your running a points setup which is stock.
