i want to drop my 72 lwb with a 4/6 drop kit. the only thing is that i only find ones for rear coil spring, and my truck has leaf's in the rear. so if im just looking in the wrong place will some one please point me in the right direction.

you don't really need the kit. They are nice, but you can do it a little cheaper then the kit if you are on a budget.

You'll need a set of 2.5 drop spindles, rear shock locators and an adjustable panhard bar. You can cut one coil off of your front 2 coils.

About the lowering leaf kit-I'm not sure. You might want to see what a set of bags cost for the rear. Some one around here must have done this drop with leafs.

Mmmm Bryan, Leaf spring trucks don't have a panhard bar. The rearend is centered by the leaf packs. I know a lot of the 73-87 guys are moving the axle from under the leaves to above for about 6" of drop. I am pretty sure this just all but requires the use of a C notch in the rear. Try contacting Tim Christian about the drop on his green GMC. It's a leaf spring truck thats stance is right on! I spoke with him while we were in Maggie Valley about the drop on his truck but I believe I was working on a pitcher of Margaritas at the time so things are a little fuzzy.

You can use a 73 up flip kit with a little grinding. A notch would make it ride nice nut I dont hav one and it wad my DD till Last week when I took out the 2nd 700R.

I flipped the rear on my 69. I used a '73-'87 kit & had to grind a little off each corner, The 73-87 perches are wider than on the older trucks. If you use a flip kit they are designed to move the axle back to center & correct the pinion angle. Heres a pic of the flip kit & a pic of my truck. It has 3" springs in the front & another inch of drop in the front would level it out a little better...corn

BTW, the frame isnt notched either. If you drive it like a car & dont haul heavy loads it will be fine...
