Smile Bench seat, spring ?

I'm restoring my 72' GMC with the bench seat. I had the upolstery redone and don't remember where the big spring goes to keep the tension on the seat adjuster? Can someone send a pic or tell me where the spring attaches to at both ends(what holes)? Thank you.Dave

I can see at one end where the spring goes into the bracket ,but what hole in the seat frame does the spring attach too at the other end? There are several oval shaped holes along the seat frame where the cover attaches too.Thank you everyone

Re: Bench seat, spring ?

mine is just hooked to the corner on one end(front) and to the rod and a hog ring on the other end (back)..looks like it has some tension on it , maybe about 1-2 inches stretch.
