i hate rusty old brake lines!!1

on the 85 i am trying to get rid of off the board, The rear brake line just has a pin hole in it. So i removed all the line on the frame rail to were it turns to rubber. so i removed from right after the gas tank back to were it turns to rubber to go to the axle. Were can i get the peice of line. i need it asap so lmc is not an option. The agreement is that the truck must be gone by the 15th. Making it may be a pain because i have neve made one and it has alot of bends in it . Please tell me were to go or what tools i need to buy. Thanks for all the help and i hope i don't have to do this on the 84 for a long time.

If you bend one, go to the auto parts store and get a piece of brake line in the right diameter that is already flared and has the fitings. You can get a cheap bender for $5 or $10 too while you are there. A little too long is better than a little too short. If it is too long, you can put a couple of extra bends in it to take up the excess. Just lay it down and try to copy the bends in the old one as good as you can.

The other option is to get one from the junkyard.

Slonaker is dead on like usual. Make sure to get a 2 hand tube bender. Dont' get the one piece bender. Get the one where you bend the handle while holding another one to bend the hose. Don't try to bend it by hand. This will kink it more than bend it more times.
