Yet another what is this thread?

OK, I don't remember this being hooked up to anything. It is on the passenger side engine compt. down around the frame rail, inner fender. The Battery cable was bolted to it. It seems to be a heat shield of some sort? I looked & cannot find my reference pic that shows where it was. Any body have a guess?

yup - believe you had it right, mounts to the frame right next to the motor mount bracket. I'm pretty certain it's a heat shield but not 100% - Kinda funny, I ran across those the other day myself and took me a lil while to rember where they came from.

I got two, or had two. I had one on the drivers side and passenger side.Screwy if you ask me.

They are exhaust manifold air deflectors.
Gm was having problems with exhaust manifolds cracking
should be one on each side
