Rams Horn Stud Replacement?
Is it possible to replace the studs on rams horn manifolds? Some of the studs are stripped/rotted on my truck. If it is possible, how is it done?
Thanks!

You will need to use a torch to heat up and break the rust. Then a visegrip usually does the job. Just my .02 Rick

If you have never done this before, take it to a machine shop and let them do it. If you break them off and try to drill and mess it up it will cost you double. If you break off an easy out in it ,it will triple the cost. Save yourself some time and money and let some one who knows how to do it right do the job.

Re: Rams Horn Stud Replacement?
I have done this myself. You need and oxy-acetylene torch. You heat the manifold ear red-hot then twist the stud out with a vise-grips.
Propane and other type torches don't heat the manifold up quick enough. You'll for sure twist it off in there making a bigger mess. If you don't have an oxy-acetylene torch, ask a machine shop. They usually only charge you a couple of bucks.
