1972 Chevy Truck Interior Plastic Trim Color Paint?

Does anyone reproduce the paint or vinyl dye that is the same color as that on the seat backs and door panels in a 72 K/5 Blazer, Pickup, Suburban? My interior is medium blue.

If you can't find it, most paint stores can make the color you need.

I don't know about the blue, but SEM makes a spray can vinyl dye, or paint(?), and they have perfect matches for parchment and sandalwood. It's pretty good stuff IMO. I got mine at my local auto paint/parts store.

Who is SEM? Do local paint stores usually make spray cans?

SEM is a brand name of dye.
No, they don't make the spray cans. But they can mix the paint for you. They also have a kit for the guys that don't have spray guns. It is an aerosol can atop a jar basically. you can put the mixed paint in there and spray away. Hope that helps.

This place will mix anything you need and put it into spray cans for you, not cheap, but they do a VERY GOOD job of matching the paint, as a matter of fact I have used them to match the silver of the overlays I have used on the gauges before.Just need a samll sample (like you would do a Home D) and they will get it made up for you. Nice people easy to work with.My .02 Randy
