need some muncie linkage help
i am trying to get the muncie m-20 ready to go in. when i got the trans the linkage was off. after setting it all up i still cant figure out which direction the shifting ears are suppose to point. the front one seems to work best when ear on trans is pointed up. the back one i can hook up pointed down or up. which way is right? i had this problem 30 years ago with my 64 goat i had the gears backwards and didnt know it untill test drive. but i cant remember, please help, or if somebody has a pic that would be great. thanks pkj

Re: need some muncie linkage help
I think the front and the center point down and the rear points up
or is it the other way around? I suppose the trans is already installed, and the driveshaft hooked up. Last edited by kwmech; 09-08-2006 at 09:30 PM. |
