does anyone know how much an empty 70 cab weighs ??? im trying to get a quote on shipping one. the weight determines the freight class which determines the price. i tried searching but no luck.

Re: empty cab weight
I think I remember seeing 450 lbs. I know that 4 people can lift and carry one, and it felt to me like I was carrying about 100 lbs. Sorry I cant be exact.

Re: empty cab weight
It's around 400 pounds for sure, although mine was no doubt lighter due to that rare rust option

Re: empty cab weight
My 68 with no dash or glass I don't think it was more than 300 .lbs it only took 2 of us to pick it up and carry it granted it was a struggle then we wrapped a 3 inch wide tie down thru the cab and dragged it up a 45 incline to put it on a shelf in my container that is about 5 ft off the floor for temporary storage I pulled the other guy pushed.
Wouldn't want to do it again any time soon.

Re: empty cab weight
Yeah I would have to say about 400-475 with the heater box and glass.
Where are you shipping from and to?
