needle in a hay stack???
Finding a factory gas pedal assembly that still has the pedal on it? Everyone I look at for my 69 all have the pedal broken off.

Re: needle in a hay stack???
There should be two little pieces of metal that stick up from the floor board and the pedal snaps into place on them. They should be right under where the pedal assembly ends.

It's 2 pins that the pedal never stays on. My pedal is under the seat somewhere because I got sick of puting it back on all the time.

Re: needle in a hay stack???
The CST style rubber pedal is real bad about popping off, the plastic base model style is OK.
If your truck is a bit of a beater, you can drive screws through the flap on the bottom (base plastic style) and into the floor. it'll never fall off like this. The studs should be to round balls, kind alooks like zerk (grease) fittings. |
