You probably woudn't want me to mess with anything you have since I have never messed with air ride. I do have a list of chores that need to be done to mine. Lets see here, remove body panels, shave door handles and marker lights, sand door jams, shave gas filler neck and install fuel door, find a 1/2 top, make custom bed cover, install 3.73's and eaton posi, install rear disk brakes, put headders on, run the satinless exhaust, install the edelbrock pro flo, block sand all body panels and paint. I hope I will be happy after I get all this done. So anyone want to come help poor old me out?

my buddy at work is BIG in the mini scene and he tells me the viair460 is a better compressor and they dont make the 450 anymore so if you ever need parts for it they may be scarce

Just so you know the ViAir compressors are very good, but very LOUD. Plan on mounting it as far back as possible.
Unfortunately this still isn't far enough...

are you just going to have front and back control or sides also
you might want to think about a higher psi presure switch cause 145 might have a lil trouble lifting the front and you are probley going to want some check valves so you dont get air blead back from tank to comp or from bags back to tank do you have the brackets for the back bag mounts and for the lower on the front |

Could you provide me with some detail on your rear setup. I have a leaf rear-end on my 70 SWB and will be baggin' it this winter. Are those the F9000 bags? If so, do they have a 1/4" air inlet? The reason I ask is that I don't want to overbuild my system. I want to have basic control (front / back) and am not too concerned about speed. I notice that a lot of folks are running 1/2" valves and lines. If the inlet size is only 1/4" then why do I need a 1/2" valve (get my drift). The fill speed is only going to be as fast as the smallest component. Any details you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

there are alot of factors in building a set up and keeping the leafs on that type of set up you can only get as low as you can lower it and then you use the bags to go up from there i will get you sone picks of leaf set ups most of the ones we do are link set up but i can give you a few ideas
and the bags are slam spec rs72 they have 1/2 ports i know that speed might not be a factor but just keep in mong if you go all 1/4 it is a lot of work to make it go faster if its too slow of you dont have enuff pressre for the amount of weight you need to lift and if you start with 1/2 and its too fast you just have to reduce it down to slow it down and they make adjusters that go in line to do that |
