VIN decoding
Just trying to find out what "Mater" is from the drivers door jam I get this number CS30V-SA35852 it has side marker lights so I'm guessing it's '68 or younger any help would be helpful. It is an old ranch truck,GMC 3500 badging on the cab It's a dually.
Thanks jennifer |

Re: VIN decoding
Simple
if you know GMC vin decoding C = conventional cab S = six cylinder 3 = 1 ton gvw range 0V= cab and chassis - = it means nothing. If there was a letter in there instead of the dash' it was typically for the state of Pennsylvania. usually a K or T represented state requirements met S = St Louis assembly plant A = 1969..so it no 68 like you thought 35852 is the sequence number
