Sport Bumper Brackets and Shortened Frames?

Will i be able to bolt sport bumper brackets to the shortened frame on my 71 project, or will they have to be modified or new holes drilled?

Just thinking outloud here. When you shorten the frame dont you take it out of the middle somewhere? I would think that shouldnt affect the front or rear mounting of a bumper and its brackets.

This makes up the difference between the lwb and swb trucks. Not only is the bed longer in front of the wheels, it is also longer behind the wheels.
