repable?need advice
these are of my truck i need to know if there repare able. im not a pro at body work (lack of experence) but i do no how to weld and fab som metal so wat do you think?

floor panels
My floor panels were shot, I ordered new panels from Chevy Duty. They were not that $$$. But I can not weld so I took it to a body shop and had them weld them in the floor looks like new. good luck !!!!!!!!

Well if you are good at welding, there isn't any reason you couldn't repair that rust. We have patch panels for the front floor section, Front door pillar, rocker backing plates, and rockers. The other holes are pretty easy to fab up from flat sheet metal. Check out patch panel section of our website. http://www.classicheartbeat.com/Patch%20Panels.htm

I'd take that project any day. My truck started 3 times worse it's comming along good. Not finished yet but getting there. sorry I got no picks

Its sure is repairable but there are a few thing not available, like the support that goes under the floor from side to side under the gas tank (the rear cab supports are the ends of this peice) and the support ribs that run just inside the frame rails on the bottom side of the cab floor. These things can be fabricated with not to much trouble.
Heck if it was that easy, it would not be as much fun! |
