I seen a truck on ebay that looks similar to one I saw on here

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1981-...QQcmdZViewItem

I believe one of the members of this board has one painted really similar to one I saw on Ebay. It's not a total clone, but the ebay truck could have been inspired by the one here. I don't know if member still post here or not.

Tweed =

Definately lame truck overall IMHO.

Oh and good job slapping wax all over it and not cleaning it up (last pic, roof seam)

Re: I seen a truck on ebay that looks similar to one I saw on here

The gap looks normal. The truck in the pic has shaved drip rails. I can't find anything wrong with the truck. It makes a great wall paper. I found it interesting that the truck on ebay has a similar paint scheme. The big difference being the smaller pinstrip than the one in the pic. posted above. I was thinking what are the chances they both look so similar. It could be possible both trucks were painted by the same person. The whole theme of the paint n body work is to ones preferrence. I like chrome bumpers, but painted bumpers do sometimes have a cleaner show truck look.

The one you posted the picture of was mine. And in my opinion is way way nicer than the one in the ebay auction(which is not mine by the way). I sold mine back in like January or so.

There you are. I agree 100%, and it makes a great wallpaper. The one you sold is too pretty for me to drive daily, but the ebay truck minus 22/24 would do the trick.

Well thats better than I ever had or probably will at this point in my life. I'll be happy with a hunerd footer. The 74 is cool as well. I got to get a usable garage before I go below 100ft.

Re: I seen a truck on ebay that looks similar to one I saw on here

The only knock on it I would have is if your going to take pictures under the hood, at least take it to the carwash and use their under hood cleaner.

On the shaved cowl it looks like you can still see the vents? Like they were filled with putty or something.

"shaved cowl"

Is it just me or does it look like they just filled in the cowl slots with bondo? Look clossly and you can still see the old ridges.
