air ride rear shock mounts

OK to get full travel out of a c-notched bagged rear end. How have you guys done the shock mounts. I dont see the shock relocation kit working. I was thinking weld on shock mounts to the differential tubes and then up above the crossmember forward of the axle. What do you think? Pics if you have them.
