Replacement Glass-LMC?

Gotta make up that Christmas list!

I need all new glass for my '51 eventually. All seven pieces! I priced the complete set through a few vendors and LMC was by far the least expensive. My question is has anyone had experience with the stuff from LMC? Any experiences in general good or bad? I'd love to save some money, but don't want to buy something that I'll have problems with either.

Re: Replacement Glass-LMC?

Don't know about their glass but I've had pretty good luck with other parts from them. Its all made in taiwan or some other far flung location but it works OK. The only part I was disappointed with was for window bottom felts on my 71. They were crappy...There customer svc is OK as well. I had bought a set (2) of Blazer tank straps and when shipped they only sent 1. I called and no ?'s asked they 2nd day aired me a whole set of new straps...That was pretty cool of them. I say go for it and if they look like crap when you get them, let them know and I'll bet they'd work with you...My .02!

Ever checked out what it would cost to get gass cut? All your windows are flat right(or do you have cab corners)? I might be doing that, and when I do I'l let you know.

Re: Replacement Glass-LMC?

I bought my windsheild from LMC and It fit good and looked great. But I have bought a few other items before that were not so hot and had to return them.

Classic Parts was $256.65 for all seven pieces while LMC was $219.65-both not including shipping.
