Tinted rear glass
Was tinted rear glass an available factory option for the small window '67?
If so, was it a dark tint or the light green. Thanks |

Re: Tinted rear glass
It should be a green tint. I have seen trucks with factory tinted rear windows, but I don't think that I have seen a 67 small window tinted in person.

That would be great. Let me know the price and so forth when you get ready to do it. Thanks

Leadfoot, I'd be interested in this also if you could work out a group purchase sorta deal. PM me with details if you would.

Re: Tinted rear glass
They're the same as the rest of the factory soft-ray tint..I grabbed one from a 67. Still have it stored away here somewhere..it's the only small window factory glass I have seen for myself. So they did exist.

Re: Tinted rear glass
well its real easy to get this done, any glass shop that does house glass can have this part made, take them you old one for a pattern, tell them you want a new tempered one made and how dark you want it.i think the darkest i could find when i had my others made was 31% which is relatively light grey tint...also because its a back window i can also be made from 1/4 laminated and it also comes green tint or grey 31% most shops dont stock the dark lam though and it cost more than having a tempered part made....
