There is a lady near me that drives a 2004 Yukon. Someone slashed her tires last week and she found some new ones at a local shop. What she found are 2007 take offs on 2007 8 lug aluminum Chevy wheels. She had the shop transfer the tires to her 6 lug Yukon but had to buy the entire set which means that she has no use for the wheels.
I have seen several trucks on this site with the newer wheels and am thinking that I might buy them.
First, could someone using these wheels post pics?
And secondly, what are they worth? She has asked that I make her an offer and I would like to get them as cheap as possible but also be fair to her.
I run a 72 3/4 4x4 and these are the 2007 4x4 wheels and centers.

If you look at dealer cost they are probably close to 400 a wheel. I had a set on my 2004 2500HD and got in a wreck at 900miles and 3 of them were destroyed. I got a new set of AR Alloy Rims and 4 Yokohama 33inch all terains for the same cost as three rims. What are they worth as takeoffs I would offer her 100 clams a piece for them. JMO Good luck.

Mine are 04 (I think) take offs and including tires and shipping I paid about $600. Hope this helps. You can probably find something similar on e-bay as a comparison.

Man, I bought a new set of take offs from a 2500HD 8 lug for $20 a wheel and got the lugs, caps and lug covers, these are not a high demand wheel unless you want em, go to Discount tire or any chain tire dealer that sells aftermarket wheels and you can get a heck of a deal, I say a $100 a set MAX!! A $100 wheel will get a complete set of aftermarket wheels or at the very least a good start on a set.

Do you know what she paid for the tires and wheels... if it's not a really high amount... say $400.00 or $600.00 offer her 1/2... she'll be comfortable and if your Ok with paying it... your done... no hunting or searching... and you already expressed interest to her so your both happy...
the ebay thing is a good idea... also call your local salvage yards, they should have set they pieced together from wrecked trucks... thase can be your max prices...

i see them on craigslist on a regular basis for 2-3hundred and they don't seem to sell very fast if at all

She couldnt have paid too much herself if the wheels and tires were cheaper than new tires. I would keep that in mind.

I have also seen them in local classifieds in the $200 to $400 range and not selling too quickly.

The tires on those 2500HD wheels should have been 10ply, that Tahoe probally dosen't ride as nice as it used to!!!
