First is always the best!!!
Ok, I was running some old 35mm pictures threw the scanner so I could have a digital copy and look what I found! I turned up some old ones of my very first truck from when I was 16. I thought I would see if any one else was lucky enough to have a pic of their first vehicle. Lets see 'em, Chevy truck or not. This is my '68 SWB taken back in 1995. I sold it years ago and have kicked myself ever since. It had a SB 350, double hump vette heads, a lumpy cam of some sort, and a 3000RPM stall converter. It was good enough for low 14's in the quarter. Not bad considering I was very dumb and poor (nothing's changed). Anyway, lets all bust out the old Polaroids and post your very first ride! Oh, and don't mind that good lookin young guy in the pic, try to ignore him.

Re: First is always the best!!!
Looks almost like my first truck. It was a dark blue 1968 Chevrolet shortbed stepside pickup. My grandfather bought the truck new, and my dad eventually got it, then I got it. Unfortunately it was wrecked back in 2002. I still have it and am planning on one day rebuilding it.

Re: First is always the best!!!

It's always great when you find those old memories!

First truck, around 1990: 1970 C10, 350 auto, copper with green interior, was in very nice shape considering we have salted roads here.
