I got the dash cluster done so I thought I'd post a pic and see what ya think. I got a new tach lens cause sometime down the road I'm gonna install one. Cleaned up the gauges and painted the needles.

Re: Dash Cluster
Yep new bezel too. The truck had the woodgrain thing goin on and it just didn't fit with what I'm goin for. The paint I used for the needles was model master flourescent red Part# FS 28915. I got that tip from searchin the board. Thanks for the input

Re: Dash Cluster
That looks super. I was gonna go with aftermarket gauges and have decided to just redo the dash as you did. I already have installed the new bezel like yours and will redo the gauges and probably add the vacumn gauge so the cluster is full. I also want to het the Just Dashes 3 hole dash pad and add Trans temp, Engine oil temp and a clock. Does anyone know where to get an original style vacumn gauge for our trucks. I know ECE has them but they want 80.00 for it and all other gauges ae in the 20.00 range.

Re: Dash Cluster
That's a fantastic cluster. Now you've gone and done it! I'm thinking about my sad looking dash and that tack lens with the bow tie... Gotta get one!
Let's see... new dash lens will lead to new gauges, dash pad... can't have the old seats with all that new dash stuff.... I'm guessing that new lense will cost about $1500. Shhhhh don't tell my wife.

Ha! I know what you mean! I actually was just gonna install my VintageAir system. Figured it would be easier without the seat in there and it just snowballed. So far I've installed the A/C, rewired the dash, painted the interior, new soundproofing mat, new carpet, shortened the steering column, new foam and cover for the seat, recovered the door panels, rebuild the hinges, the list goes on! Hopefully it'll be back on the road by the end of the month. The wifey is used to this with my bikes. She just looks in the garage and shakes her head.
