sm465 to np205 coupler

I'm in the middle of an over haul of a sm465 in I need a new mainshaft and a coupler to my transfer case. The splines on the transfer case look fine but the mainshaft is about half there and the coupler is about a 1/16 there so i need a new one. My problem is finding a coupler that is 10 splined and 4.75" long. I found a mainshaft for about $75,and an overhaul kit for $150, but haven't found a couple for less than $90. If anyone knows where I can get these parts cheaper or a good quality ( if its good quality i dont have a problem with how much it costs like made in USA).

I problem that happened with the trans mission was the roller bearings between the input shaft and the mainshaft stopped rolling and when i would let the clutch out when it was in neutral it would kill the engine.

Does anyone know of anything else i should check while i have the tranny apart.

Thanks,
Mark

I can vouch for thatk30guy, he is a long time member at ck5, and I have purchased stuff from him before.

Re: sm465 to np205 coupler

I'm amazed at those prices, I could swear I saw them listed somewhere for like $90 or so - guess that just shows, always need to check out the GM parts department.
