67-72 Chevy trucks 2007 Calendar pics
Alright folks here we go. Here is the deal on the calendar. Since the 07 calendar will be the first one and we have a short time we are going to limit this to 67-72 chevy trucks, Blazers, and Burbs. We are going to use show type trucks for the first run. If this works well we will get an 18 month calendar for the rest of 06 through 07. I know we tons of trucks and we are not trying exclude anyone. We will get to all types and years. Remember this is the first one. To submit your pictures please send 4 pics at the most. 2 exterior, 1 interior, and 1 motor. Please post them here, we will then take a big group of them and have all of you vote on which trucks should be in the calendar.
Here are the rules When you submit you give us permission to publish your pics. You do not have to post interior or engine if you do not want. The truck must be yours!!! You must be a board (Forum) member The truck and pictures must be above average quality. Must be a 67-72 Chevy or GMC Truck, Blazer, or Burb or Panel. When you post please also list on there that you give us permission to use the pictures. Give us a brief summary on your truck.[/LIST]year, engine, interesting facts, your name and location. I will add to this if I forgot anything. Again Thanks and let's make this a great first calendar. Last edited by bskylerj; 11-18-2006 at 01:45 PM. |

I'll give it a whirl, but I have an idea the competition could get pretty stiff if everyone gets their cameras out.

Need/want some blazers?
You want just purdy trucks or would off road pics be considered too? I have more of both. |

Re: 67-72 Chevy trucks 2007 Calendar pics
Hmmm, just four pics you guys are making it rough on me! If you like any of these you have permission to use them. If you don't like em and want to see some more just give me a shout. This one is our 72 C10. I found this one in North Carolina and it had been owned by the same guy for 27 years. I added the spray in bedliner, blacked out the glass and tweaked the ride height a bit. I also added the Vintage Air and the Wheel Vintiques billet Cruzers. The AM radio is still in the dash while a CD head unit provides tunes from inside the glovebox. It's still powered by the original 350 although it has been bored and has the addition of an Edelbrock intake, roller tip rockers, underdrive pulleys and HEI.

Re: 67-72 Chevy trucks 2007 Calendar pics
Well this one is going to be a little easier since I haven't made very many clean shots of it lately. This is our 72 K10. It's one of 6069 factory SWB 4x4s. I have it around ten years or so. This one was a little rougher (rusty) when I got it so every panel except for the hood and roof has had major repair or been replaced. The truck has a 4" suspension lift and 33x12.50 tires. It also has the original 350 with the same mods as my C10 with the addition of a Comp Cams 4x4 camshaft. The K10 also has Vintage Air and a glovebox mounted CD player. I just made a 600 mile trip in this truck a couple weeks ago so yes it does get driven from time to time. And again you have permission to use any of these photos if you like.

Re: 67-72 Chevy trucks 2007 Calendar pics
Now that i know about this, n can OK it and help lead it along. Keep em coming guys, once they're chosen I'll need a high res (highest res you have) to make the calendars with. 3 megapixels minimum is preferred. Chevy and GMC wanted I'd like to see a few burbs, panels, blazers and trucks in here.

I say start with ToTM winners then go from there...my 2 cents, They did get the votes and nominations to win in their category.

Re: 67-72 Chevy trucks 2007 Calendar pics
These photos will be blown up to about 8x10 size or larger and the picture quality will have to be good. Everything gets fuzzy when the file is expanded.
TOTM winners would be good also, again, picture quality has to be good. Mike

Nowhere near as nice as what other's have, but I'd love to have the old girl in a calendar.
1967 Chevrolet C-10 2wd 350V8/700R4/3.73 Jesse Brown Greenville, SC The only really interesting fact about this truck is that it was 100% home built. I give my permission for the use of these pictures.

Re: 67-72 Chevy trucks 2007 Calendar pics
I know you said four pics but here's a couple more of mine and board member 71see10's . Use em if you want em.
Hugger had asked me about this one but it doesn't meet the criteria due to it not belonging to a board member. I just thought the shots were to clean not to share them one more time! Well, strike me down and call me dirty names for posting more than four pics! Sorry, just use what you want and disregard what you don't. I'm just a pic postin fool! |
