tear down
I'm working on my 69 and trying to figure out what I want to do with it. Well, today I started taking everything apart. I think I want to paint it flat black, keep it real simple. I only need it for the occasional trip to home depot and to take a drive every once in awhile. Here's what I got done today.

Looks like you got quite a bit accomplished.Keep in mind that you need to use something besides primer to make it flat black.Primer will let it absorb moisture and rust under it.
So what about powertrain,interior and ect.?

I'm probably just going to leave the 350 in it for now. I'd like to get overdrive, maybe a 700r4. My uncle has an old farm truck with a/c, so i'll probably go get that. I also want to get seats out of the newer trucks so I can have the good seatbelts.

WOW, I love how you turned the '69 Chevy longbed truck into a '05 Chevy shortbed truck. Haha, just kidding. looks like you have a very good foundation to start building a nice truck with. Good luck.
