Re: Some Pics of my 70 c10 project
yes i am painting it myself! i am painting the engine bay right now. it will be black and the rest of the truck green with white roof. it will have no trim on it. the paint process wont be for a while since there is alot of bodywork to be done on it still. it needs a new tailgate and new front fenders. everything else is pretty much rust free. the inside fender on the passangers side needs to be replaced also since battery acid has rotted the metal on it. other than that the truck is in absolute awesome condition! the frame on it is in really great shape and is pretty much all original. i will be going with a 383 with a saginaw 4spd transmisson (would rather a rockcrusher tranny but no $$$$). this has been an awesome truck to work on and has really taught me alot of stuff. it is my 1st all out projects and so far its coming along great! i got it this summer and already have totally cleaned it, removed the front end, most engine components and lowered it along with getting some interior work done.
