Can anyone id this proportioning valve?
This is out of a '67-72' truck, but I don't know what it goes to and whether it would work on my '67. I currently have the prop valve from a '77 down on the crossmember below the radiator and want to move it. Now that I think about it, I might be able to still use it and just use the bracket from this to mount it by the booster. Also, would I be able to media blast this clean again and just blow it out thoroughly before installing? Anyhoo, does anyone know for sure what this is from?

ok. That is a 71-72 disc brake proportiong valve. You could media blast it just be sure to plug all the holes with pipe plugs so no sand gets in there.

Brad, that looks like the one I cleaned up last night . Mine came off a 71'. I used a wire wheel on a dremel to knock the rust off before painting.

Re: Can anyone id this proportioning valve?
Same as this one I pulled from a 71 C-30. The large port hanging off the bottom/rear is for trailer brake lines. More than likely it's from a 3/4 or 1 ton truck.
