Column/steering wheel swap Q's

I’ve been hoping to use the steering wheel, from my ’67 C-10, on the column in my ’68 (has a ’69 or later column in it now. Will this work? To tell the truth, I’d actually rather swap out the entire column ('67 has a much healthier column) but I don’t know if they differ; given the fact that the ’67 has ram steering. Did GM change the column between the two years and two styles of power steering? Thought I’d get some advice before disabling two trucks in the cold & rain. Thanks for any advice! ET

I haven't dealt with any 67's with ram steering but the columns should interchange with the only difference being the rag joint at the steering box.
Any pix of the ram steering parts. I am looking around for a set up to go on my 67 4X4 to make it look orginal.

the only difference is the 69 (some 68's) were colapsing columns. I have personally installed a 67/68 wheel on a 79 van tilt... which I have also installed the 69 - 72 wheel on the exact same column.
So yeah... it'll work.
