PIC of where passing gear cable goes???
More dumb questions . Can someone show where up top the passing gear cable from the tranny goes or hooks on to? Or just maybe explain to me as best you can. I ordered a new PGC/kickdown from JEGS and it has the double (universal, I assume) end on it. Haven't the slightest idea where it goes or attaches. I'm pretty good with putting thing sback how they were taken apart, but I wasn't around when it the motor was removed, so now I look like a retard trying to piece things back together.
Thanks for the help guys! Jesse

Re: PIC of where passing gear cable goes???
Glad it helped, I just switched carbs from an edelbrock to a Demon & i was having trouble (actually couldn't figure out) how to adjust the kickdown cable, so I took these pics, posted them here & someone was nice enough to explain to me where the adjustment tab is on that cable/bracket, I know what you mean, this place & these people are wonderful.

Re: PIC of where passing gear cable goes???
I am running a Holley 870cfm Street Avenger. I had a Demon on my 67 El Camino. I wanted to post a pic (not so great a pic, though) so that I can get more feedback, as well.
71chevylowrider, our carb linkages look to be a little different, but your pics still give me a much better idea of what I'm working with than I had before you posted, so still BIG THANKS to you. Guys, please take a look at this pic and offer any suggestions and feedback and pics, of course. Even if the pics aren't of the same carb, please post, as this will still give me more reference and ideas on how to go about resolving. Thanks again! Jesse

Thanks again, 71chevylowrider! I went ahead and ordered a Spectre TC bracket similar, if not the same as yours. Looks like pretty much the same thing I need since it's universal. Take care Jesse
