No problem, my name is Jason. Also, I'm not selling the GMC. I just bought it. Let me give you a little story. Yeppie!! Story time!!!! LOL! Any ways the guy I bought it from had a built 406 small block in it. He cracked a piston. And well, he got board of the GMC, and sold it to me. He had a parts truck that the 305 came out of. So, to make a boring story short, I got the truck for $500, and he included the 305 for me to install. I just had to pull his 406 out. I am very happy with the truck, it drives great. That pic shows the worst side, the passenger side. The only thing I dislike about the truck, is that it's not a 4x4. Oh well, here is a pic of the 406 comming out.

Nice to meet you Jason. Nice deal on the truck. $500.00 bucks, can't beat that.

You'll find we are a fairly civil bunch of folks. My self, I've been a member here since December of 99. Strayed to CT for a while and did my time moderating the 73-87 truck forum over there.

Now, I'm glad to say, this is my home. I plan on staying a long time this go round.

Thanks for introducing yourself, Jason!

To the rest of the regular visitors here---Sounds like we need to convert him to the street side! Low, smooth, and powered by a 406ci. V8, can you picture it?

Cool, nice to meet you Jason.

I'm the road bump as G calls me.

I was taken under the 73-87 wing back at CT when there was no S-10 forum. Thats why i'm here.

I'm now officially making myself mascot of the 73-87 board. As fit, I drive the clown car.

Almost. Low, smooth, and a big freakin big block inside. Small blocks are for people who only want a lot of horsepower. Thats why my 383 is going bye bye as soon as I can sell it and have enough for a big block. Big blocks are for people who only want a lot of horsepower but a HUGE FREAKIN TON of torque!!!

Nice to meet you,Jason.

And what are you going to do with the 406?Rebuilt it?
Must be a lot more fun than a 305.

Well, actually, I didn't get to keep the 406....... I wish I could have... Ervin, I think I met you at Pigion Forge in 2001. I know it was one of the guys from the 73-87, but I could be wrong on accusing you... LOL!

Jason,

you very well could have. I was there. Was I with Captkaos and some others? I remember talking to some of the 67-72 guys, but can't remember who they were. I've met so many truckers up there.

Small world, ain't it?
