67-72 1/2T-3/4T Cab mount differences
Hey People,
Can someone clue me in on the differences between 1/2-3/4 ton cabs and/or mounts? I see ads for urethane kits, 1/2T only, 3/4T 4wd only, so what gives? If you start swapping cabs/frames around are you looking at trouble mount wise? Thanks |

The frame and cab mount locations are the same. Where you have diferance's is in the mount bushings 1/2t and 3/4t and 4x4 are differant thickness's.

ok, so then the cab actually sits differently (higher?) on the 3/4T and 4wd trucks?

No, the the frame mount sits lower to allow a taller body mount bushing. The cabs are the same.
