heater core swap

IS there any way to put in an AC heater core into a non AC truck? I have the entire outer AC box. Could I just swap them out and wire it up to work with my non-factory AC controls?

I am unsure but I think that you would be better off sticking with the original unit and just replacing the core.
I would also get the seal kit that goes along with it while you have it apart.
The a/c stuff adds alot of plumbing/wiring/cableing that you won't need unless you are converting to a/c, but then you will have to alter the firewall for that.
If you need some jy parts you can try Honest Johns on Elliot Reeder road in Haltom City he usually has some of these trucks.
