64 on 22's

Anyone got pics of 60-66 chevy's on 22 inch wheels? Any that are bagged or bodydroped? This is my first day and I already love this site.

Re: 64 on 22's

On some trucks, the big diameter wheels look good, but for me, the 60-66 trucks do not look good with them unless you stagger the heights. When the tire heights are equal front/back, the rears look terrible. I prefer the 18/20" combo instead, but I like the street rod look. Love those bare metal trucks! I saw the write-up in Custom Trucks, and the metal work was very impressive.

They are in Cali so rust really isnt an issue... if it gets surface rust just sand it off

Re: 64 on 22's

What type of lowering suspension are you planning on running? Bags? Static?

That thing is going to look sweet closer to the pavement!

Dino63

Is that green truck the same one from photos of a white one on Porterbuilt's web site for the Dropmember?

Man, I really need to save up for the dropmember and get my butt back to working on my 65..
