I've got a '74 Jeep PU

that has a sbc 350, 3 speed manual (side mounted shifter), married to a Rockwell T-221

Anyone know what tranny this is

gear ratios

strengths and weaknesses

I searched sm 330 on this site and it appears that you're the man (by default since you're one of the few people to even mention this tranny)

I'm not sure if you're a 4x4 guy, but do you know if this tranny can be swapped with an sm465 and keep the married rockwell t-221 transfer case using the same adaptor sleeve?

I figure that it doesn't hurt to ask.
