What is this Truck worth

I found a 1968 C10 long wide box pickup that is unreal. It has 32,000 miles on it and everything is original except for the battery. The paint is great no rust what's so ever, small dent in the back corner of the box and the seat has a rip, other than that the truck is awesome. 307 with three on the tree Ivy gold and white and both build sheets are behind the seat, one in the seat and the other taped to the gas tank. What I want to know is what do you guy's think this truck is worth? I have looked it over from top to bottom and I have a good idea but I want to know what you think and give me some ideas before I but it.......Thanks

Re: What is this Truck worth

That sound like a dream truck, heck the only thing that can make it any better is a short bed & GMC on it.
Seriously that is sounds like a sweet truck.
And welcome from New Mexico.
I think it's worth whatever you want to pay. And if you don’t, I’m sure there are plenty that will.

Re: What is this Truck worth

Gold and white '68? Could it be a 50th? That could change how much it's worth.

Re: What is this Truck worth

Well it's a first post so I think I can not delete it for asking price. Just note that whats it worth (WIW) posts lead to. ok I'll buy it and sell it posts and well you get the idea maybe. Anyway appears to me your excited to find a rarer gem where you are and searched for a site to find a typical value. WE have a classifieds section for sellling and that where subsribers can sell parts and where subscribers can ask whats it worth posts. You don't have to subscribe to buy parts or ask questions on someone elses item their selling in the classifieds section, but you have to subscribe to be able to start your own thread.
You can view the whole truck classifieds area http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/c...cat.php?cat=12 to see other perhaps similar valued trucks for sale. Regions change $$ values as well as many other variables.
If you choose to subscribe, see the rates here http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/payments.php

Re: What is this Truck worth

Yes it is my first post! That's why I joined was to get some info from you truck owners......I kid you not about this truck, it was originally from Oregon then the couple moved to Alaska where the truck has been ever since. Now there to the age where the have no need for the truck and would like to sell! They are asking $5,000 for it.....and that why I asked for your imput. Now how can I tell if its a 50th or not? I have the truck @ my shop now and have been through it from one end to the other and I'm not BSing when I say its completely original. It still has the original shocks, carb, springs still with tags, ball joints, ect... and everything works the only thing missing is the spare tire. I know it sounds to good to be true but this is what it is. I jjust wish I could of found a Camaro like this when I was looking.

Re: What is this Truck worth

I can't remember the paint code number for a 50th but it will be gold with white below the trim and a white roof. The dash and carpet will be gold and the seat will be gold and white. Just from what you say 5K sounds like a good price. Others that know the Anniversary trucks will chime in soon with more info.

Re: What is this Truck worth

Yes it is white roof and white below the trim....I cannot remember the code off the top of my head. I'm not trying to get a price for resale! I'm a car and truck junkie and just want to add this to my collection.

Re: What is this Truck worth

This would be a heck of a truck to add to the collection, and even if it is not a 50th (which it sounds like it very well is), it is worth $5k.

If you want to see what I paid $4k for in pretty incredible shape, click on the link in my signature to my gallery for my truck.

BTW in most cases a wiw for someone looking to buy a truck is against the rules, it's one case where it's not enforced to strictly.

Re: What is this Truck worth

If its rust free and straight, regardless of drive train and options 4-5k is a fair price. Rather pay more than give 1-2k and spend another 2-3k to fix. Better grab it.
