Battery Relocation Questions

Has anyone relocated the battery out of the engine bay? If so where did you put it and do you have any pics of it?

Truck is now finished to the new owners design and running around.
I was shown some pictures of the finished product. At least it survived the junk yard.

Re: Battery Relocation Questions

There is a kit sold by an outfit on the West Coast that sells a battery box that mounts on the frame under the bed. I don't have the web address available right now, but I can get it later.

Cool I'm wanting to free up that space for ram air tubes after I convert to tuned port.

Try www.nwautofab.com This guy has a fair amount of things for the older trucks. Including a battery box, I believe.

Re: Battery Relocation Questions

Got mine in the bed in a uncovered battery box, no problems, but i get little to no rain or snow here. Just had to move it when i pulled the wheel wells. It took about 30 minutes.
