im trying to mount the powersteering pump on my 70 gmc truck i got the bracket that bolts to one of the motormount and 2 bolts on the front of the engine but i cant get it to adjust up even when all bolts loose it moves about 1/4 inch any one have pictures to check out and the altenator is on the same side (drivers) altenator is above the p/s pump and 350 cid
help

Did you loosen the nut on the back of the pump? You can also try loosening the bolt that runs through the bracket. It's located towards the bottom.

the first picture is my 69 350 p/s bracket

the second picture is a 71 p/s bracket

post pictures of your brackets

the top one is the stock 69 bracket..on my engine

the bottom one is a stock 71-72 bracket biilsbowtie has or had forsale

thats why i kept the picture..they are different mines one piece in the front,
and the other is two piece in the front...
