1967 with 327?

did this year c10 come factory with a 327? i didnt see it as an option on NADA. and if so, could anyone also tell me how 'rare' a 67 small window with 4 on the floor and 327 would be exactly? worth 800 bucks?

Re: 1967 with 327?

yes, it is a factory option.
no, we can't say how rare it is, small window is the norm on a 67, 327, less likely, but no way unheard of, 4 speed, again, somewhere in the middle.
If it runs, it's well worth 8 bills.

Paid $800 for my 67, 327,TH400, AC, PS, PB. Well worth it if it's a loaded truck.

It may not be extremely rare, but it certainly is desireable.

Re: 1967 with 327?

Heck, snag that thing up! Factory is usually worth more than 'late model engine swap'. Did the camel hump heads come in that year? Besides, $800? How many good spare parts are with it? On a slightly different note I ran across a 67 K10 stepside for $1000 but it needs total resto and re-assembly. Am thinking of getting it for a later project. Don't see too many step side 4x4s around, eh? It's kinda fishy: the VIN tag has been removed (harsh grinding all over) the glove box build sheet says CE249... so a 2wd 69 3/4 ton, there is a 71 owner's manual in it and it has a big back window. Whassup widdat??
If all else fails I have a 67 C10 VIN tag I could put on it...... can you say "arrest me?"

Re: 1967 with 327?

IIRC its a faded blue...good amount of surface rust on top of the typical rocker and floorboard rust (stated by seller). it def. looks like it'd be worth 800 bux...gonna try and haggle with him though. hell, wouldnt be a true car guy if i didnt lol

Re: 1967 with 327?

dont think im gonna get this truck. 1. its a LB, not a SB like i had thought, and 2. too much rust for me to fix he said that he would go as low as 600 dollars for it though (some guy offered that to him). i did snap some pics as promised though.

Re: 1967 with 327?

I see $600 in parts alone.
Buy it and resell it on here.... if it runs and drives fine, I'd bet you could turn a profit.
Hell, it'd make a kick ass beater.

I'd be interested in a running '67 327... especially in Neb.

Re: 1967 with 327?

hell, the cab floor and rockers looks way better than mine!

I just removed the license plates that were welded down as patch panels, and can stick my arm through in more than a couple spots.

personally, i'd pay the 600 and throw the cab and front clip on a shortbed frame, reuse the running gear, and sell the bed.

I can't quite tell-is that an after market intake? It don't have the 307/327 oil filler tube. Might not be a 327.

with HEI, late model acc brackets, and a sensor in the t-stat housing... I'm guessing it's an 80's motor... 350/305.

Re: 1967 with 327?

whatever motor it is, its got an edelbrock intake and accel (yuck) coil/cap or distributor

and to whoever said throw it on a shortbed frame and get a new box...ive NEVER seen a 67-72 frame for sale locally....

i concur, alt bracket is wrong too, does the glove box say 327 on it? pull the numbers off the pass cylinder head (front) and have the guys on the board look it up. If it runs then its worth it, sell it on here or put it on Ebay and make a few $$
