Re: What did y'all get done this weekend?

I ran my butt off in the rain all week. I think I washed my truck 5-6 times just trying to keep it clean. Saturday i went to my daughters volleyball tournament. They are playing in a 4 stop tournament. They won every match so they move to the gold division for the next stop.

Sunday I slept in a little and skipped the 9:00 am service. I made the 11:00 am service then took the family to lunch. I spent the rest of the afternoon fixing the timer on my swimming pool, then detailing my 04 Dodge. Tomorrow it goes to a consignment lot....

i watched about 6 hours of some show called "the closer"

it's -17 degrees here (with windchill). I just about froze my A$$ off in the two minutes it took to grab my headers out of the garage so i could take pics for Billa.

New pinion oil seal. Stopped diff leak, tranny leak, and oil pain leaks.

Now I can park in my nice, clean driveway!

Re: What did y'all get done this weekend?

Saturday, cut up some more trees, pulled a stump or two, then froze my tush off at my son's soccer game. At least they won. Today, after we got the wife out on her road trip, the son and I finished (lord I hope so) hauling tree debris out, replaced a wheel barrow wheel, and changed a light bulb on the outside of the shop. Said hello to the truck as I went by it about a dozen times.

Oh yeah, got the Dodge dirtier, but said clean can wait till tomorrow.

Re: What did y'all get done this weekend?

Well I finished the body work on the bed the repop tailgate (what a PITA) I also test fitted the bed on the chassie. Kinda siked to see some body panels on it for a change since I took it apart two years ago. Attached are a couple picks with all the air out of the bags and before you say it I know I need bigger wheels and tires. Next weekend I should have primer on the bed and tailgate. Then I start the reassembly to make sure everything fits before paint.

Re: What did y'all get done this weekend?

Didn't actually work on the truck, but did spend a lot of time at the swap meet here in Wichita. Went Friday morning with a buddy of mine, but went through it all pretty quick. Worked Friday afternoon, but got up early Saturday to get there when they opened and spent another 4 1/2 hours going through everything. Bought some billet wirelooms for my camaro, and got several things for the truck: new flexplate, chrome mirrors, factory ac control assembly, and traded in my old front bumber (bent by a honda civic delivering pizzas) for a straight replated original. Now if only the weather would warm up some so I can get back to welding in sheetmetal... and I still have the whole front suspension to replace!

Re: What did y'all get done this weekend?

I was showing a friend my air ride setup and he asked "Did you mount the front shocks?" I didn't understand why he would ask what seemed to be a silly question, then he aid "well, you didn't connect the top of the rears".

I scratched my head and looked under the truck. Sure enough, my shocks were just standing straight up. The top bolts were nowhere to be found.

I hadn't installed the top half of my shock relocator kit, so I figured now was a good time.

I thought my truck was a little bouncy.

Re: What did y'all get done this weekend?

Got my C-10's interior completely stripped, some cowl area interior rust spots [that were doubling as water fountains] on both sides repaired/sealed and did the initial mounting of the aftermarket A/C air handler in the dash.

Oh yeah. Almost forgot. Also stoked the woodstove about 4 dozen times to keep the garage temp at a reasonable level.

PS: I lied. It took me two weekends, not one.

Re: What did y'all get done this weekend?

I promised myself that I would clean up the office and shop before I tackled the exhaust system so I spent the weekend cleaning the office. What a mess. I never realized that I hadn't put any magazines away in almost 6 years. I guess that the ever narrowing path to the computer desk should have been a clue.

Re: What did y'all get done this weekend?

friday i put the tool box in the shorty and cleaned it all out. i went to the pnp and scored a set of 4 black truck ralleys with tires and beauty rings $66

sat my dad has been siphoning the gas out of every thing he can and gave me some to use up, ok fine , it came from my 2 other trucks that ran and drove a month ago, dump it in. my buddy chad goes to get me for a fence job, get the concret at 1pm and rental people tell us we have 4hrs or it costs extra. we have to wheel barrow it up and down hills, 800' of fence 14 posts, it sucked, alot. we get done and go to drop the concrete trailer off and low and f-ing behold, they are closed!!!!! yeah they close at 4:00 pm, sure would have been nice if some one had mentioned that at 1pm when we only had 3hrs till they closed!!!!!!
any ways we go back to my house and decide to go eat, his g/f shows up, there is 3 of us, me and chad a filthy, chads truck still has the trailer on it, ok lets take the shorty. fires right up, we hall ass accross the street and cough cough stalllllllll......... wtf?! start start start nothing, sob!!!! wtf!!!! gd it!!! now we have to push it into the parking lot after push wheel barrows of concrete all morning !!!!! pop the hood and the glass filter looks like a jars of orange marmalade!!!! the gas the my dad gave me was **** gel !!!
that wasted 15 gallons of good fuel, nice.

got it all sucked out and still wouldnt go so i put the 750cfm on and the big air cleaner that doesnt fit under the hood, so i pulled the hood

had the little tires on the front, it was a nice night out, i was ready to race!!!

sun pulled the dist and 6al msd from the long truck and put them in the shorty.

drove the truck with out the hood for 2 days with that nice big shiney air cleaner sticking up and loved it, i wants a tall tunnel ran and a 10" tall cleaner
