Re: are theses the headers to use on baged trucks
I plan to run the 3/4 length headers from Skip White on ebay. They are for 88-95 trucks, but they fit with a little trimming on the driver side and you have to plug the O2 bung. They are only $160 and they are ceramic coated, not a bad deal.
I was told a Camaro headers don't fit because they hit the motor mount on the driver side.

Re: are theses the headers to use on baged trucks
I'm running the camaro headers on 71 2wd. No problems with hitting motor mounts, but did have to trim about 1/8 -1/4 of an inch of upper frame rail on passenger side......no big deal!! For pics and part number go here

Re: are theses the headers to use on baged trucks
I first tried some shorty headers out of a firebird and the drivers side hit the a-arm.

I have 3/4 length headers for a Chevelle/Malibu ... they don't rub anywhere.

Re: are theses the headers to use on baged trucks
maybe i missed something, but why not use the shorties designed for our trucks, as they are readily available...
I know both hooker and heddman have them

Re: are theses the headers to use on baged trucks
the hooker comps i have now hang down about three inches and since i'm putting in a new tranny crossmember and a new drop center crossmember i want to run the exhaust between the frame rails. i have it bagged with the drop spindles and the headers aren't that bad the only time it hits is when its aired down all the way. but i can take better advantage of the new crossmembers with new shorty headers or 3/4 headers just need to figure out which ones.
