AutoNik Headlights
Has anyone used the new AutoNik headlights? These are the new replacement headlights that have the amber turn signal built into the headlight....please post pics if you have done this install.
Thanks!! |

Re: AutoNik Headlights
My son "Firedog" has purchased those plus the upgraded wire kit with relay. But his 68 is still at the paint shop & will not be out until the last of Feb. Told me that he was very surprised at the quality of the lights. The lights appeared to be very well made.

Re: AutoNik Headlights
Those you have are not exactly the same the ones he got were on e-bay. I think the seller was fatrodder?? And were in the $75-$89 dollar range?? But they have the reddish turn signal I belive not the oranges ones in those..

Re: AutoNik Headlights
I've got those ebay ones, x-mas gift from the wifey. I haven't installed them yet, but I'll post some pics when I do. I'm wanting to remove the signals in my grille too.

Re: AutoNik Headlights
I really like the ones on this site as mentoioned above,
http://www.streetrodstuff.com/Products/2211/ I love the lower turn signal section. I wonder if oncoming traffic can see them as they look into your bright headlights however? Is there any DOT regulation about separation by distance?

Re: AutoNik Headlights
those ones like the one fat rodder has, is just a little wedge bulb, that will get drowned out by the headlight and not be able to see it very well... the othe one is all LED lights and are bright enough to see

Re: AutoNik Headlights
I don't know if there are different versions of the one's with the LED turn signals in em, but the one's that I did see were very pricey....especially when you consider they have plastic lenses.
