I know that it seems like a buncha money, but somewhere, somebody is just waiting for this stuff, not knowing that repro's are available for less money.....but purists will argue that they have to have the NOS stuff. I personally am going to remove all of the trim (upper and lower) from my '69 SWB. I don't want the expense of replacing it and it makes the truck sides a bit "busy" looking. It was fine in '69, but today it is a bit much (for my tastes). I like the clean "hot rod" style. My truck was black when new. I'm even thinking about having some '67-68 style of trim airbrushed on my truck...it is less invasive of the body lines than the wide stuff on the '69-72's, especially when you add the upper trim, too.
The chrome trim that the seller says is missing (windshield, back glass and headlite doors) is available. Looks like bidding ain't no big deal with opening starting at $1250 and $1300 being the price he (she?) will take. It won't be me. Somebody is gonna buy it.

Im willing to bet it will be a NO sale. Two months ago there was actually a factory trim kit from GM that went for $450.
I rather go buy another truck for $1200 |

Trim is highly overrated...LMAO! That is more than I paid for any of my trucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am not surprised...just amused. Someone sold an NOS 1967 Chevy II rear quarter (with rear roof pillar) piece of sheet metal for about $4000! I thought that was nuts...especially on eBay. Usually eBay results in the lowest prices of all.

I am pretty sure the NOS trim on a few weeks ago in the box went for over a grand. It was only the side stuff no front parts. I bet you cant get new stuff (not nos) as complete for that price. But yes it is high. Wish it was mine

Haha, I thought I was the only one that welds up the trim holes (on everything!!) I've always preffered the smooth look too, and now I see why.

Wonder if its for SB or LB that might help my decision,but id have to sell a whole truck to buy it-LOL.Hey dad you see this,i know you have all of it new in the wrapper!still thinking about putting it on your truck? I have most of the 69-72 Upper and Lower NOS and im gonna weld up the holes,and sell off all that stuff,i already sold the box pieces i bought it all for $60 but the bed pieces were for long and i sold that for $400,now im stuck with cab foward.
