this board allways seems to have a what did you get done this weekend thread but for some including me, sometimes you spend your weekend finding and ordering parts. being that that's just what i did this weekend i'm curious to know what you raided the piggy bank for this weekend?

for me, i ordered several carb linkage parts since those $400 carbs don't come with any linkage brackets, an exhaust system, and a cab rubber kit.
All in all it set me back about $350 but i should be able to drive my gmc late next week. "it's only taken me 6 months". =)

Bought a remote mount solenoid from Summit to cure my "hot start" problems on my 71. The other stuff I bought for my 59: Rear license plate bracket and tailgate trunions...How exciting!

Had to get something for my birthday!

about $30 on whoppers during the trips there and back
guessing around $30 in shop supplies
for the first time in a long time I spent exactly $0 on parts.
I spent the entire weekend hacking,slashing,gobbing and grinding
(might have been some swearing in there too).
