Re: OK heres another dumb question

I am going to do the same thing but I would think there would be some way of fabricating the foot pedal brake (make a new bracket or something) rather than cutting out the firewall. I have a full body off going and working on my cab as we speak so I will look this over carefully. Thanks for the heads up!

Re: OK heres another dumb question

OK I will follow the dumb questions route as well,,,,
Do we really need a parking brake?
What do you folks think?
I have been kicking around the idea of getting rid of my ebrake pedal or changing over to the floor mounted style that was used in the larger 2 ton style trucks. I thought maybe mount it between the door and the seat, next to my floor shifter or maybe behind the bench seat.
Just kicking around some ideas.

Re: OK heres another dumb question

You'll definately want that E-brake if you ever have a hydraulic failure with the normal brake system.
