Centerforce clutches
I was just wondering if anyone had ever used a Centerforce clutch in their trucks. I am going to have to replace mine again this next spring I think. I just replaced the clutch disk last summer, but my clutch is starting to slip a little bit. I know there is an adjustment for the clutch peddle, but I don't think it has any effect on the clamping pressure of the pressure plate. Or does it? I want to upgrade to a Centerforce II, but I don't know much about them. Any suggestions, guys and gals?

If your pedal freeplay is within specs, then adjusting it won't do anything. If the pedal freeplay is not good, you could be saving yourself a bunch of $$ and some bloody knuckles.
As for the centerforce, I knew a dude with a 305 Camaro who had one...but it didn't make any power so he never had any trouble with it. Add a bunch of weight and power....no tellin what could happen. |

i have a centerforce clutch in my ke2500, im pushin a wee-bit of power and carrying a decent amount of weight and its doing great. i also have the tendency to drop the clutch at high rpms and its takin the beating

I run a Centerforce behind a 500+ hp BB and it doesn't slip.
