She's not a Pickup but she is a '51

4400 series. Bought from an area school district through public surplus. Turns out it has less than 74000 (ACTUAL) original miles, and came with 50 years of documented service records to prove it.
This rig really needed the 70 mile drive home to get her cleaned out from all the short trips it had been used to. After about 20 miles it really started getting fun to drive, along with some looks. Now I need to get that water tank off of her and figure out where this relationship is headed Sure did shine up nice.
Just what I need......another project

Cool looking ride. Maybe get an old wrecker back end for it and make it a tow truck with some old style lettering on the doors
