Re: radio que.
Back in the day (70's), there were FM converters for your AM radio in the car.
They would hook in between the antenna feed on the radio and the antenna cable. Then you could tune in FM stations and send the signal to an unused AM frequency. If I remember correctly, they only cost ~ $30 back then. You might find one on Evil Bay or a swap meet. |

Re: radio que.
there are alot of products out there that address this issue.
#1 - obviously the best option, is one that plugs "in-line" between your antenna and the radio, as it has the best signal quality (most satelite radios use this option). #2 - you can also use a "FM Modulator" which broadcasts a signal that your antenna picks up. These are kinda cool because, anybody near you can tune in and listen to what you are listening to. they have a higher Loss rate than the ones installed In-line, but it's not very noticible. #3 - remember, these trucks did come with FM Radios, so you could always swap your AM unit for a factory FM unit.

Re: radio que.
You could always mount a second head unit in the glove box and run a new loop power, ground ect have your stock AM in the dash and new tunes in the glove box. best of both worlds except for the lose in storage space.
