2wd blazer??

does this look like a '72 2wd blazer, or I should say, what is left of one? Emailed the guy, but haven't heard back from him. Didn't want to waste my time with it if it wasn't . What do you guys think I should offer him if it is a '72 2wd?

Re: 2wd blazer??

Well, its a 2wd now.Id say its most likely a convert with the newer 73+ front suspension,Cant confirm without VIN otherwise. If it is a 2wd originally Id offer a few hundred,at the most a grand, depending on shape of body, ect.Doesnt look anywhere near halfway together. It would take alot of work to get it road ready

Re: 2wd blazer??

Why is 3/4 of the floor missing in the tub? I dont see any trailing arms either.I increased the size and zoomed in on the pics,if they were better I could see for sure but I think it has rear springs meaning it was originally a k5 (4x4)

Re: 2wd blazer??

I just left a msg for them and will let you know what I find out when they call me back. If I go look at it I will get some better pic's. It looks like to me that it is at a wrecking yard that would most likly meen a salvage title if even that.

Re: 2wd blazer??

hey you guys check it out i have seen thing and let me tell you ,it is and original 4x4 like Kevin said . the rear end is just sitting under the frame and and it is upside down.the front cross member is tack welded in and it looks bad.i saw this thing about a month ago and the only part that looked go was the front window frame.it also has very heavy surface rust.i offered them $100 they said they would take $200 so $700-$800 i dont think so.by stating my opinion on this i am in no way trying to dis the seller i am just trying to pass on useful info to one of my fellow boardmembers.you take it easy.Tony
