Help! power steering pulley not lining up

I bought this truck and it's a 1977 with a supposed 1985 350 in it.
The pulley is off about a 1/4 inch to the crank. Anyone have any ideas? Has anyone ran into this problem??

I'm thinking of getting a adjustable mount from summit. Anyone have any luck with these? [zoop]
Should I try a double groove pulley? Where would be a good place to get one?

If you want function over form and low cost grab some all thread some washers and nuts. I think its 3/8 16 that you want to get. Cut the threaded rod longer than you need the pieces so you can get it adjusted where you need easier. After you get it all setup you can get some round tube. Cut the round tube down the length of the washers you need. That will replace the washers and clean it up a little bit better than the stack of washers.

Re: Help! power steering pulley not lining up

Looked it over again tonight and I think I might need a triple groove harmonic pulley. Does Anyone know if a 3 groove pulley has the 3rd groove behind the 2 grooves or is it in front.
Does that make sense??

Basically I have a 2 groove pulley and I need the 3rd groove closer to the block. Is that how they come or do they put the 3rd groove on the outside [fan side]

Would you be able to post any pictures of the front of the engine?

On my small block with AC and an Air Pump, the Crank pulley is a triple-groove , the Water Pump pulley is a double-groove, the PS is a double-groove and the Alternator, the Air Pump and the AC is all a single-groove. The outer belt rotates around the Crank, Water Pump, Alternator and Air Pump pulleys. The middle belt rotates around the Crank, Water Pump, AC and PS pulleys. The inner belt rotates around the Crank and PS pulley.
